Things that can put off potential clients are simple issues which can be solve in an easy way. It's all about discipline and etiquette.

Small lies. If you lie once, nobody will ever belief you. For instance, use our product and you'll recover as soon as possible. Clients buy them and no change. Odor. Nobody likes bad smell. Just like smoking cigarette odor matters a lot. Keeping good hygiene attracts clients.

Too pushy. Trying to force customers to buy your products. Never force anybody to become your client, let your clients make their own decisions, just try to use a convincing language and be friendly.

Too soft. Being too soft makes it look like you are never sure of you product. You don't belief on them. Imagine if you don't believe on your product, who will?. Be confident but not boastful.

Authentic. Pretending you are an expert yet you know nothing. Make sure you know what you are talking about or even what you are doing. Let your clients praise you thus refer other people for your services and never praise yourself.
